For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about... gelli printing is making prints using a gelli plate. You can make your own with gelatine and a few other ingredients or you can buy a commercially made one. They come in different sizes and are super fun to use. I love print making! The enjoyment of revealing the surprise ach time you "pull" a print (the technical term for making a print), never tires. You can create designs with stencils, with simple tools, your fingers, you can use as many or as little colours as you like, you can use various types of paints, oh.. it's endless!
Usually I start them as a background for a mixed media work or cards. Then I add stamps or other embellishments with pen and ink. Finally I add some words or wishes..
