Why is pottery so much fun?

Because it’s like playing in the mud but with a grown-up twist. There’s something magical about taking a lump of clay and turning it into a beautiful mug, a quirky vase, or that slightly wobbly bowl you’ll forever love because you made it.
 

Pottery is tactile, soothing, and a tad messy.

It's equal parts meditation and creative chaos.

Even if it doesn’t turn out perfect (“rustic charm springs to mind”), you’re still left with a one-of-a-kind piece that is unique to you and gives you the satisfaction of saying, “Yes, I drink my morning tea out of a mug I made myself”?

So why not join one of our first workshops and try it out for yourself? 

We currently have 2 dates for you to chose from.  You can either opt for the full workshop (1 session of making your mug & bowl + 1 session of glazing the pair) or opt for a "cold" finish which you can do at home after the pieces have been bisque fired.  If you have any questions about this, please get in touch.
