Why is pottery so much fun?
Because it’s like playing in the mud but with a
grown-up twist. There’s something magical about taking a lump of clay and turning it into a beautiful mug, a quirky vase, or that slightly wobbly bowl you’ll forever love because you made it.
Pottery is tactile, soothing, and a tad messy.
It's equal parts meditation and creative chaos.
Even if it doesn’t turn out perfect (“rustic charm springs to mind”), you’re still left with a one-of-a-kind piece that is unique to you and gives you the satisfaction of saying, “Yes, I drink my morning tea out of a mug I made myself”?
So why not join us for a workshop and try it out for yourself?
We keep our groups small to allow for each student to get full attention and advice. As such, spaces are limited.

What students say ...
We had such a lot of fun and got to try a new skill. I think we were all very apprehensive when we arrived, however we were soon put at ease Chris, with your lovely cheery manner, and before we knew, it we were actually making a mug .
The class was so informative we had so much fun .
Good luck Chris with your new venture. F.
Enjoying tea from our new mugs - they make us smile every time we use them! We were just going to do the mugs workshop as a one-off, but we're so delighted with our creations that we immediately booked the monoprinting workshop! Thanks, Chris, for all your hard work, allowing us to experience something that we'd never have otherwise done.
A & A
Loved the “Make your Own Mug & Breakfast Bowl” sessions! I am not a crafter or a maker of any sort, so was really nervous the first morning.
Chris was lovely, welcoming and re-assuring. The two classes just flew by. It was a great experience, with lovely memories and was the best Christmas present! Definitely recommend.
