Modern and ancient intertwine...

I love statues, I love rust, I love patina and when I came across the picture of this wonderful statue - one of several installed among the unearthed ruins in Pompei, I felt compelled to draw it. Not much else to be said. I enjoyed the amount of colours found in this single face. Chris
